Pool Cleaning & Maintenance
Getting us out to do a ‘clean and balance’ means your pool will look and feel beautiful to swim in.
The service can be done on a regular basis or as a once-off visit and involves: cleaning the pool, chemically balancing the pool water and carrying out the necessary maintenance on the pool equipment.
Full description: we scoop the top of the pool, brush the floors and walls of the pool where necessary and vacuum the bottom to get rid of any leaves or debris. We test the pool water and add any necessary chemicals to get it well balanced which helps protect the health of the pool shell and equipment as well as the swimmers themselves. Finally, all the pool equipment receives the necessary maintenance (baskets are emptied, filters and chlorinator cells are cleaned etc.)
Repairing/Replacing Pool Equipment
If there’s something wrong with any piece of your pool equipment (pump, filter, chlorinator, pool light etc.) – we can come out to site and assess the problem. If the issue can’t be diagnosed or repaired on site, we remove the equipment and get back to you ASAP with an assessment of the issue including a quote on the necessary repairs/replacement as well as our recommendation on which option is more appropriate.
Pool Handover
Perfect for someone who is new to looking after their pool or simply wants it all explained to them so they can understand it better. In a pool handover – a technician comes out to meet you and we talk through what you need to do to look after your pool and pool equipment. This includes chemicals/water testing, maintenance of pool equipment and handy tips like how long to run your pool each day and how to set the timer for the pool etc.
Green Pool Cleanup
We can help rescue a green or even brown pool back to good health so it’s ready to be enjoyed again. Most occassions it involves us coming out to the pool two or three times. The first visit to scrub all the algae in the pool, clean the filters and throw in all the necessary chemicals. On the second visit sometimes the clean can be finished – with the pool and equipment receiving a full clean and balance and being handed back to the owner. Other times, some of the algae is more stubborn and requires a second scrubbing with some extra chemicals and so the pool clean up can only be finalised on the third visit. If the pool is beyond redemption with mere chemicals we can organise an acid wash (explained below).
Acid Wash
Acid washes involve draining all the water from the pool and then removing all the debris from the pool. The walls are brushed with an acid/water mixture and then pressure washed which usually brings them back to looking like new. The pool is then refilled and rebalanced and ready for use once again.
